After a thorough enquiry, EuMA decided in 2003 to organize the one-day European Radar Conference (EuRAD) as part of the European Microwave Week (EuMW). The first event of this series was held in Amsterdam, October 2004.

EuMA appoints a Conference Organizing Committee. This Committee, with oversight provided by EuMA, has the basic accountability for the conference operations of a single calendar year EuRAD. It is responsible for the conference operations and consists of a Chairman, Technical Programme Chairman and Secretary/Treasurer in so far as possible representing the country in which the EuRAD is to be held.
