To improve its efficiency in conducting business, EuMA has decided to establish Standing Committees.

At the EuMW 2000 Paris, it was agreed to establish an Awards Committee to consider the portfolio of EuMC prizes and awards, and the development of new prizes.
For the year 2010, the Awards Committee comprises A. Räisänen, Chair, K. Beilenhoff, A. Madjar, J. Modelski, T. Ohira.

Early 2001, it was agreed to establish a Finance Committee. For the year 2010, it comprises A. Vander Vorst, Chair, A. Räisänen and A. Yarovoy. For the same year, the BoD has appointed A. Yarovoy as internal auditor.

At the EuMW 2001, London, it was agreed to establish an Industrial Liaison Committee.In 2010, it is chaired by K. Beilenhoff and is composed of a number of people from industry, as well as some from academia.

Simultaneously, it was agreed to establish a Long Range Planning Committee, comprising the members of the BoD and chaired by the President of EuMA.

In April 2004, an Executive Committee has been established for the daily operation of the Association. As of January 1, 2010, it has the following membership: President (W. Heinrich), Secretary/Treasurer (A. Vander Vorst), Deputy Secretary/Treasurer (D. Vanhoenacker), Honorary Secretary (A.F. Wilson), and Headquarters Assistant (A. Van Nieuwerburgh).

In October 2005, a Publications Committee was created to oversee, promote, and disseminate the publications of EuMA. For the year 2010 the members are: R. Sorrentino, Chair, W. Heinrich, P.-A. Rolland, P. Russer, D. Vanhoenacker (vice treasurer), R. Quéré (Editor, International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies), A. F. Wilson (Editor, EuMA Newsletter), A. Vander Vorst (treasurer, invited).

There are also several Adhoc Committees, with duties limited in time.
