Call for Paper
International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies
International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies was launched at the beginning of 2009, publishing six issues a year. As the official journal of the EuMA, it aims to reflect the achievements of European Microwave Research in the landscape of the scientific and technical literature. IJMWT provides academic and industrial researchers with an opportunity to promote their work and to stay connected with the most recent developments of Microwaves and Wireless technologies. The journal is published in association with Cambridge University Press, and is disseminated worldwide in print and through the Cambridge Journals Online platform.
Scope of the Special Issue on 60-GHz-Communication-SystemsThe worldwide availability of about 7 GHz of unlicensed bandwidth in the 60 GHz band has triggered numerous international research activities. By now, two international standards on 60 GHz Wireless Personal Area Networks (WPAN) were released. A third standard on 60 GHz WLANs is in preparation. A number of national and international projects support the development of 60-GHz-technology. This special issue aims to present some major achievements of this research. The main topics are: - Channel characterisation and channel models In addition to a number of invited papers, the issue is open to contributed papers, and is scheduled for publication in spring 2011. Contributors are invited to submit their papers (6-8 pages) to the invited editors Hermann Schumacher (University Ulm, Germany), Volker Ziegler (EADS Innovation Works, Germany) and Eckhard Grass (IHP GmbH, Germany). A copy should also be sent to the journal (ijmwt@brive.unilim.fr ).
Upon acceptance, the paper will be published in print, as well as electronically via Cambridge Journals Online http://journals.cambridge.org/mrf. IJMWT publishes all accepted papers online ahead of print in FirstView. All papers are given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) which enable them to be referenced as soon as they appear online. ![]() |
