Prize Winners
The Raytheon company is sponsoring an annual award of €5,000 to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the field of radar. It was first attributed to the paper at the European Microwave Conference that best advances the state-of-the-art in Radar, starting in 2001. It is now awarded within the frame of EuRAD.In 2004, the Raytheon company kindly agreed to split the award into a EuRAD Prize and a EuRAD Young Engineer Prize, funded at €3,000 and €2,000, respectively. These EuMW Radar Prizes aim to stimulate and to create an annual European area on the latest R&D in the wide area of radar technologies, systems and applications. The rules are similar to those of EuMC. Submitted Radar papers, including papers on Radar-related topics, will be considered for the Radar Prize by the Technical Programme Committee of EuRAD and the General Assembly of the EuMA.
