Organization
A significant change was introduced in 1997 when the Management Committee (MC) created a Steering Committee (StC) to operate with more stability.

In 1998, two conferences were organized in conjunction with the European Microwave Conference: the GAAS Symposium and the European Conference on Wireless Technologies EuWiT. Starting 2004, however, one more Conference is organized in the frame of EuMW: the European Radar Conference (EuRAD). This brings the number of Conferences organized during the EuMW to four, with associated workshops, short courses, and focused sessions. Since 2006, the GAAS Conference has evolved into The European Microwave Integrated Circuits (EuMIC) Conference.

As a result, the organization of the EuMW has become rather complex. This is the reason why detailed Guidelines have been issued by EuMA to ensure a smooth organization and management of the event. They are at the disposal of the officers in charge of any part of the EuMW.
