Requesting a speaker is intended to be simple and straight forward.
- - First select the speaker of your choice, then contact the EuML coordinator for approval, stating the requesting organisation and the intended audience. Approval is given by the EuML coordinator and only approved talks will be funded by EuMA.
- - Once approved, coordinate the date, time and all other local arrangements directly with the speaker. Travel for the speaker is funded by EuMA, while other local expenses are expected to be paid for by the requesting organisation. If you advise the EuML Coordinator of the agreed venue details then it can be promoted via the EuMA web site.
- - During the lecture, make notes of the attendance, level of interest and any other useful information to help assess the impact of the EuML initiative. This feedback should be summarised in an after talk report sent to the speaker. This is a requirement for release of the EuMA funding.
If there are any question, or difficulties then the EuML coordinator is available to assist.
