Membership
Any person professionally engaged in RF and Microwave work is welcome to apply to join the EuMA as a Member. Student Members Applicants are welcome, they are required to be full time students and less than 30 years old.
The yearly fee is 20 € for Membership, with the requirement of at least three years of activities in Microwaves before applying for membership and 10 € for Student Membership.
In January 2008, the Board of Directors decided to offer a three-year free EuMA membership to people residing:
* in the 15 NIS countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan,
* as well as in 9 other countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Syria, and Tunisia.
This free membership is valid for the present year 2008 and for the full next three years, until 31 December 2011.
To initiate the procedure, please send a short e-mail to André Vander Vorst, EuMA secretary-treasurer, to let him know that you are interested, giving him your first name, name, and affiliation. He will then let you know how to proceed.
The yearly Membership fee remains at 10 € for three years after graduation for those who were EuMA student members when graduating
Membership offers quite significant advantages:
- paying discounted fees for attending EuMA Conferences and Workshops, such as EuMC, EuWiT, and EuRAD, as well as EuMA sponsored Conferences
- obtaining the Proceedings of the European Microwave Association at a discounted price (24 € instead of 60 €)
- obtaining the EuMC Proceedings Archive at a discounted price (35 € instead of 128 €)
- receiving the EuMA Newsletter reporting information on EuMA activities; and
- participating in future EuMA activities
Combining Membership fee and EuMA Proceedings subscription offers a reduction, at 44 € instead of 50 € for a member, and 34 € instead of 40 € for a student member.

If you select to pay through the authorized payment processor for EuMA, please note that you can either open a personal payment account with this processor, or just pay with your credit card if you do not have or want to have such an account.
Membership applications received after August 1 are intended for the next calendar year. This entitles, however, the new members to exceptionally benefit from reduced fees at the EuMW starting from the incoming event.
