A BROADBAND WAVEGUIDE TO IMAGE GUIDE TRANSITION
R.J. Collier, G.X. Chang
A BROADBAND WAVEGUIDE TO IMAGE GUIDE TRANSITION R.J. Collier and G.X. Chang ABSTRACf The paper presents a method of designing a waveguide to image guide transition which has low V.S.W.R. and insertion loss. Some practical results are given of a Q-band (26-40 GHz) transition which was designed by this method and then compared with the theoretical predictions.
HOLLOW IMAGE GUIDE FOR MILLIMETER-WAVE INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
J.-F. Miao, T. ltoh
HOLLOW.IMAGE ,GU1DEt.FOR MILLIMETER-WAVE INTEGRATED CIRCUITS J .-F. Miao and;T,..ltoh* ABSTRACT A novel dielectric waveguide structure, hollow image guide, is described. This structure has several interesting characteristics useful for millimeter-wave applications. Dispersion characteristics and field distributions are theoretically and experimentally studied. Coupling characteristic is also st

MAGNETOSTATIC WAVES FOR SIMULTANEOUS PULSE SEPARATION

MAGNETOSTATIC WAVES FOR SIMULTANEOUS PULSE SEPARATION Pradeep Wahi*and Z. Turski** ABSTRACT Inaccurate measurements, due to signals occurring simultaneously in a dense EWscenario, lower the probability of intercept. Propagation of these signals through a highly dispersive delay line should separate them in time domain. Inherent dispersion of Magnetostatic Waves are ideally suited for this app
A HYBRID TUNABLE MAGNETOSTATIC SURFACE WAVE OSCILLATOR
J.P. Castéra, P. Duême
A HYBRID TUNABLE MAGNETOSTATIC SURFACE WAVE OSCILLATOR J.P.Castera an d P.Dueme x xx ABSTRACT A microwave tunable oscillator using a magnet0static surface wave two-port etched groove resonator as the frequency selective element and a GaAsFET chip for gain in the feedback loop has been achieved and tested. The oscillator circuit has been designed using the theoretical model of a GaAsFET an
ANALYSIS OF JUNCTION CIRCULATORS FOR MICROWAVE INTEGRATED CIRCUITS
W. Hauth
, ANALYSIS INTEGRATED Wolfgang OF JUNCTION CIRCUITS Hauth CIRCULATORS FOR MICROWAVE ABSTRACT Junction circulators with ferrite and dielectric layers parallel to the junction plane are analyzed using a two-dimensional mode matching technique. The theory holds for arbitrary transverse field distributions of the coupling transmission lines. Thus microstrip circulators and fin-line or slot line circu
A METHOD FOR CALCULATING LUMPED ELEMENT NONRECIPROCAL MIC JUNCTIONS
P. Bársony
A METHOD FOR CALCULATING LUMPED ELEMENT NONRECIPROCAL MIC ~UNCTIONS PETER BARSONY" ABSTRACT In this paper a new approximative calculation based on Biat-Savart law is given for lumped element single and coupled microstrip lines on just saturated ferrite substrate, which method can be used for designing short microstrip lines on ferrite, and nonreciprocal lumped element junctions. Specially the sta
PRINTED SLOTTED ARRAY EXCITED BY A COPLANAR WAVEGUIDE
A. Nesi
PRINTED SLOTTED ARRAY EXCITED BY A COPLANAR WAVEGUIDE A. Nesic* ABSTRACT This paper describes a new concept of exciting slotted arrays. A coplanar waveguide printed on the same side as the slots serves as a feeder conductor. Two models of printed arrays with the antiresonant slots excited in this manner were realized.

A PHASED ARRAY ANTENNA USING MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNAS TANEAKI SHUICHI CHIBA*, YASUO SUZUKI*, NORIAKI MIURA+ and SHINGO OHMORI+ MIYANO* ABSTRACT A phased array antenna using microstrip for tne AMES (Aeronautical Maritime Engineering Satellite) airborne antenna. The phased array antenna has tested over a frequency range from 1.54 to 1.65 GHz. Scanning abilities up to +30 degrees have been veri
