Impulse Response of a Waveguide Subject to Mode Conversion-Reconversion
A.E. Karbowiak
Impulse Response of a Waveguide Subject to Mode Conversion~ Reconversion A.E. Karbowiak ABSTRACT The paper presents a simple derivation of the impulse response of an overmoded circular waveguide carrying an HOI mode. It is assumed that rate of coupling between the H mode and the parasitic modes is small otherwise the coupling can be sy~!ematic (e.g. periodic) or random with a given power density
COMPENSATION OF STEP DISCONTINUITIES IN STRIPLINE
M.A. Larsson
COMPENSATION OF STEP DISCONTINUITIES IN STRIPLINE Mats A. Larsson ABSTRACT A new method method namely for compensating steps in stripline widths is described. are considered, This is based on the exact step in one edge and impedance formula. Two cases steps in both edges.
A 12GHz BROADBAND LATCHING CIRCULATOR
Y. Katoh, H. Konishi, K. Sakamoto
A l2GHz BROADBAND LATCHING CIRCULATOR Y.Katoh, H.Konishi and K.Sakamoto ABSTRACT A 12GHz internal magnetic return path circulator has been developed, which has more than 25dB isolation over llGHz to l3.5GHz and O.25dB insertion loss. This paper describes the design procedure using eigenvalue measurement [1,2], construction and operating characteristics.
ANALYSIS OF LATCHING FERRITE PHASERS IN CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE
K.P. Ivanov
ANALYSIS OF LATCHING FERRITE K.P. Ivanov+) PHASERS IN CIRCULAR WAVEGUIDE ABSTRACT A theoretical investigation is presented of a circular waveguide, filled completely by azimuthally magnetised remanent ferrite under angular symmetric TE mode excitation. The analysis is extended to a more complex structure of acircular guide with coaxially positioned ferrite rod, magnetised azimuthally to remanenc

IMPROVING THE USE THE PERFORMANCE OF LATCHING WAVEGUIDES. PHASE - SHIFTERS WITH OF CURRUGATED A.J.F. Orlando ABSTRACT. A periodic structure consisting of an azimuthally magnitesed ferrite rod that fills totally the loading irises of a corrugated cylindrical waveguide is theoretic - and nume rically, analised with respect to the propagation of the TEOi mode. Computed values of the differe
TWO - RESONATOR YIG FILTER IN MIC TECHNIQUE
V. Slobodník, J. Melichercík
TWO - RESONATOR YIG FILTER IN nc TECHNIQUE Vladimir Slobodnik+, Jan Melichercik+ ABSTRACT The contribution presents a possible solution of magnetically tuned band-pass filter for use in microwave integrated circuit technique. Two-resonator filter configuration is used. YIG spheres are located over the micros trip line in the plane of short. The longitudinally inhomogeneous open stub is used
COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN OF JUNCTION CIRCULATORS
E. Sdek
COMPUTER E. S ~dek x AIDED DESIGN OF JUNCTION CIRCULATORS ABSTRACT A computer-aided method for designing stripline and microstrip circulators is described. The method may be used to design circulator and optimize its parameters over given frequency bandwidth. Optimization is realized using the error function determined by eigenvalues of scattering matrix characterizing the ferrite junction.
A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE DISPERSION CHARACTERISTICS OF PLANAR WAVEGUIDES DEMONSTRATED FOR THE COPLANAR LINE
U. Schulz, R. Pregla
A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE DISPERSION CHARACTERISTICS OF PLANAR WAVEGUIDES DEMONSTRATED FOR THE COPLANAR LINE Uwe Schulz and Reinhold Pregla* ABSTRACT An efficient method for calculating the dispersion characteristics of planar waveguide structures is presented, of which the principle is known as the 'method of lines' in mathematical literature. The wave equation is discretized o
